Body image is how you see yourself in the mirror and in your own mind. There are so many messages about how a person and their body “should” look, that it can be hard to feel good about your body. It is important to work at accepting your body because all bodies are good bodies. Having a negative body image can sometimes lead to poor mental health or disordered eating.
